The voice of Los Angeles native Cami Elen is both inviting and wholly
untouchable. She has taken her dynamic range, sinuous, sexy whispers and
raw, emotion-drenched screams literally around the world, and brings her
passionate delivery to maturity in Darling Violetta. Having performed since
she was a child, Cami's a published songwriter and appears as a vocalist on
a Hank Williams, Jr., recording. She longed to sing and perform original
music, and while touring China as a singer in a revue, playing to packed
stadiums in unhygienic misery (just ask her about toilet conditions in the
Chinese backwaters sometime, then you'll understand), she decided to quit
and returned to her native Los Angeles. Darling Violetta was born and to this
day Cami still revels in the comparative luxury of our public facilities.
